Charge and Cancelation Policy

Your credit card will be charged full length of stay plus tax at the time of booking. Full refund of deposit if cancellation received 72 hours prior to arrival date. Cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to arrival date will be charged one night’s room and tax.

Check In Policy

Checking in time is after 3:00 pm. Your accommodation will be available to you from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms.

 

Late Arrival Procedure

Please ensure you contact us no later than noon to let us know if you will be arriving later than 10pm. If you want to do late check-in, please arrange it with us through phone, or email Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let and one night’s deposit taken. 

 

Check Out Policy

Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 11:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Late checkout might result in additional charges.

 

Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.  If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the accommodation. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

 

No Smoking Policy

All of our rooms are non-smoking.  

 

Pets Policy

Sorry, no pets are allowed at Blue Anchor Guesthouse.

 

Damage to Property

The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.

 

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

 

Management's Rights

It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/ herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premise.

The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith , Without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default the Management has the right to remove the Guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him / her.

 

Hazardous Goods

Bringing goods and / or storing of raw or exposed cinema films or any other article of a combustible or hazardous nature and / or prohibited goods and / or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited.

The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management , its other guests , invitees visitors, agents and servants for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of any / instructions.

Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, animals and pungent food are strictly prohibited on hotel premises.

 

Privacy Policy

Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s).  With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers.  We will not share your details with any third party.
